“The 7th 8th grades are each only 50 students total. Each are devided into two classes making them 25 per class. The whole school is only 150 students. What the school lacks, music & language arts, it more than makes up in other areas.”

“The good news is it's small and the bad news is it's small. Compared to all the other public option in WCCUSD your child will be safe and received somewhat individualized attention. There is no music or foreign language. Due the the increasing popularity of Manzanita, you will have to put in your 75 hours to even have a chance of getting in. If your child needs an option other than a huge school and you can't afford private school... this is your place.”

“Manzanita is a great school with a number of pluses. I am a parent of a 2nd year student. Small class sizes, good teachers,constantly being informed about the child's progress. If she doesn't do her work I'll get a phone call. Almost everything is done by parent volunteers and the students themselves. It is a great community. It helps tremendously having parents around who assist in their child's education. The teacher's actually care about students and their families and are constantly looking at ways to improve learning and to create an atmosphere for students to be creative. My daughter loves going to school!”
