Kennedy High School Reviews

John F Kennedy High school is a dreadfully awful school. Sending your child to this high school is just giving them a ticket to a life of crime and community college. I can promise you a large percent of the students there will end up in a mcdonalds. I guess when you make friends at JFK you'll never lose those friends cause you know they'll be right next to you working in the back of a burger king.

i was a student of jfk i graduated in 2007. o.m.g what can i say bout this school? this school was the boom i had so much fun i knew almost all the students that attended it there. i got along with teachers, staff, and students. teachers and staff only believe on discipline students. but , to have fun learning new things and to feel like you were at home. jfk was a fun, friendly and safe place to learn at. i just wish i was back in high school and attend there again..i loved that school so much that i ended working there as a caseworker helping students just like they help me when i was there. ther is nothing much else to say but JOHN F KENNEDY HIGH ALL THE WAY BABY!

im a student in kennedy high school and it aint as bad as people say it is news, they just look at the bad stuff that happens and never tell what good goes on in this school. just a couple of people fights but no biggy, people here are smart and giftted. some teachers just misunderstand the students sometimes and are quick to judge the student badly. going here really aint bad-theres good kids, good teachers, good sport coaches. im a freshmen in high school this year and played football, and my coach always tells us that class and grades always come first. ps. our football team might not be good but we got heart and next year we coming back stronger and better.

I love my high school, although it has a few issues with student safety, like not having enogh site-supervisors , kennedy is a overall small community of students who all know each other and for the most part want to attend college

jfk is a fine school with fine teachers and students. they just need to improve in their behavior, teaching skills, and discipline. i think everyone is unique in their own way and havea lot of potential, but they have to find a way to show it and let it shine! people might say that jfkis a bad school and you cant get a good education there, but that`s not true!! i know it for a fact because a lot of seniors that graduated this year have gotten scholarships with money too!!! just because you go to jfk does not mean that you will not be able to attend college or a university. you can still be successful and graduate high school and make it in life!!!!!

This is the worst high school I have ever taught at. Crazy kids turning off lights, picking fights in class, making physical threats, throwing books, chairs, even tables. Complete jungle. And the administration had little interest in setting things right. Of course, they had a metal detector going into the school, so I guess that make it a safe school. Quite simply, if you send your kid here, you are giving them a great disadvantage if they want to succeed in college or, for that matter, have a worthwhile time. Anyone who tells you otherwise, just really doesn't know what a good learning environment is. I know writing this is bad for people already there who have no choice, but I do speak the truth - it is a bad school that must be avoided at all costs.

john f kennedy high school used to be a fine school, but nothing good lasts if you don't want it to. all three of my children, richard, cecil and tam attended john kennedy hi and can vouch for ihstructors like shirley ellis-calhoun. the school will never be any more than the interest taken in supporting it. estella davis, an ex classified employee of the richmond unified school district and twelve year resident of the city of richmond.

Kennedy High School is a bad school. However, this cannot be attributed to the students or the teachers. There are excellent, dedicated teachers at the school as well as motivated students. The problem lies with the way in which the school is funded and the mandates in place that keep the students from learning anything more than what is to be tested on the statewide tests. I went to Kennedy, then I went to college. The level of preparation that I had was not the same as other students that I had to compete with.

Kennedy High School is not a bad school and people shouldn't say anything bad about it unless they go there. Like any school, there are some bad qualities like bad students, teachers or lack of parent involevement, but we are trying to do a good job. Everyone thinks because of the area Kennedy is located in that it is a bad school. Despite the crime that may happen in the area, none of that ever makes its way into our school. We have numerous site supervisors and police officers and they do a pretty good job. We barely have fights unlike the other high schools, no gang drama or violence, and our community supported us during our homecoming this school year. happened years ago that made everybody think that Instead of talking about how bad you think our school may be, why not try to dedicate

Kennedy has a good learning enviroment. most of the students are there to learn. The teachers are dedicated and know what to do. Dont judge the school because of the reviews it gets.Go there and spend the day. it's not a bad school.

I think this school is not as bad as it's reviews pass it off to be the school has greatly improved. It is now offering much more help so more students get into college and I seriously like being a student. we can help the school get better. It's the students that affect the reviews not the teachers

I think it is a terrible school. It's like the blind leading the blind. The students have no one to look to for a good example.
