Our next activity was the Lick Observatory of the University of California at Mount Hamilton, located east of San Jose. We stopped for a few minutes at a picturesque viewpoint on the east side of Lake Berryessa and took almost no more photos. After reaching the intersection with CA 128, we turned left to pass the southern end of Lake Berry Vanessa and then headed east along the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds to the San Francisco Bay Bridge. Our next activities were lunch at one of the many restaurants along Highway 87 and the Cesar Chavez Trail in Santa Clara County.
